haay..
im sitting here not really knowing what to say..well..it has been a long day for me. ive been working on my term papers, LP, mid term exams and other requirements for my graduation. my mom will kill me if i dont graduate this march. she keeps on reminding me to focus on my academics..of course i have my hands full already..i am the president of the student council, meaning, i have to work..i have to set an example for my fellow officers. i remind them all the time to do their tasks..we are guided by mao's line: what we need is an enthusiastic but calm state of mind and an intense but orderly work.
i have a practicum tomorrow..i haven't even submitted my LP yet..God! help me! i am at your mercy..huhuhu..
though i have all these in mind..i thank Allah that he has given me an inspiration..a person who trusts in my capacity, and a person who shares my interest and aspiration..other than wanting to do well in my academics and wanting to have enough physical and mental strength to do my academic and council work..i really cant ask for anything more...

i am leizelna ahalul, i have been an officer of FEMSUSSCO since 2002. i was a head delegate during the 33rd G.A. in MSU-Main and was elected as FEMSUSSCO Secretary on the same occasion. I was the presiding officer of the 34th G.A. in MSU-Gensan and on the 35th as an ex-officio being the SSC President of MSU-Gensan.
for three years i have seen femsussco remain not as a decadent organization but as an organization being operated by people with decadent thinking. for three years, i strived very hard to save FEMSUSSCO from falling into the brink of political quagmire..sad to say, i failed. i failed not because i am weak, but because among the good ones left, i am the only one who remained strong..others were sucked by the "system" and others chose to run away, afraid of being caught in the crossfire.
for three days, i saw faces and names of future politicians. future governors, future mayors and perhaps even future senators. FEMSUSSCO or student councils for that matter, should serve as our training ground to be good leaders in the future..not to be corrupt and fascist leaders of the seemingly hopeless country that is the philippines.
sad to say, that even FEMSUSSO is infested by the ills of the society..i hope the young leaders that i met there would come to their senses and would realize that their actions could mean salvation or doom of this country.
